At Sisters Code, we specialize in meeting entrepreneurs in the early stages of their journey—sometimes before the paperwork, the pitch decks, or even the business name. Our Story
Sisters Code Founder became a Mainframe Programmer in the early 90’s and it forever changed the trajectory of her life. In an effort to introduce more women to the field of technology she began this journey.
Sisters Code was founded in 2013 with a mission to “Awaken the Mature Geek.” Our goal was to empower women ages 25 – 85+ to explore the world of coding and technology. Since that time we have worked with over 1,500 women teaching them to code and introducing them to opportunities in tech.
It became clear that many of our participants were also seeking entrepreneurial assistance as they immediately began using their new tech skills to start businesses and assist other entrepreneurs with tech enabled solutions.
Answering the call in 2023, we started offering business assistance and coaching to small business owners. Since that time we have helped hundreds of founders start, scale and grow their businesses and connected them with the technology support they need.
While we are industry agnostic, we focus on preparing businesses to implement operational technologies that spark and sustain growth. We also remain committed to training those interested in learning technology to connect with entrepreneurs, start their own venture or upskill.
We also offer operations-oriented technical assistance through a vetted network of service partners that are intimately familiar with the challenges faced by local small businesses in growing their companies.
